A Tory Burch night with the Four Pearls

It was a fun filled night comprised of shopping, cocktails and glamour… as if one could expect anything less at a Tory Burch event benefiting Four Pearls, an auxiliary of Beckstrand Cancer Foundation. Gorgeously dressed LA Socialites, Angelenos and O.C. friends flocked to the designer’s Robertson Boulevard boutique to show their support for this amazing nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to improving and enhancing the quality of the lives of children, teens, and families struggling with cancer.
And let’s face it, I, along with many others out there, are undeniably obsessed with this lifestyle brand and simply cannot resist the lure of Tory Burch’s attainable and luxury fashion designs. Plus I'm always eager to go shopping for a cause!
Apparently, I was not the only enthusiastic shopper eager to show my (and my credit card's) support for Four Pearls. Upon arriving at the plush boutique, I found myself squeezing in between and maneuvering around dozens of pretty guests and stunning clothes, occasionally pausing to lovingly stroke an exquisite handbag that had caught my eye. Working my way to the back, I could not help but notice how the Tory Burch boutique resembled a beautifully designed jewelry box, but instead of sparkling gems, it housed colorful fashion outfits.
Finally, reaching the back of the store, I found sales associates frantically trying to keep pace with the onslaught of demands from the swarm of shopping socialites. At the center of this shopping frenzy, greeting friends and guests, stood Four Pearls Co-founder & Chair, Lauren Collins and Co-founder & current Four Pearls President, Veronica Muth. Off to the side and surrounded by a mountain of discarded Tory Burch flats, Four Pearls member Laura Dubrish chatted with Georgiana Artemis Nikias and Jay Mortenson. At the front of the boutique, Kristin Hamilton and Ted Willis chatted with ClevverTV host Dana Livingston Ward and John Tilley.
The Tory Burch event was a smashing success and it was a night spent reuniting with old acquaintances, making new ones and of course, shopping for a cause. Even more exciting news, Tory Burch has generously donated a portion of the event's proceeds to Four Pearls. This will allow the auxiliary to continue supporting their parent organization’s many programs, which provide patient support for cancer victims undergoing treatment and financial assistance (such as rent or mortgage payments, health insurance, auto payments and medical co-pays) so that the patient is able to completely focus on their treatment and recovery.
